50 degrees ≠ 50 degrees

3/30/22- Yesterday we drove to the Algavre reigon of Portugal. We are staying in an Air B&B right on the coast. After eating a heart healthy breakfast of hamburgers we drove to a 3 mile hike along the cliffs by the ocean. We made a mistake in our choice of clothing as we assumed 50 degrees on the coast is the same as 50 degrees inland... it is not. We were burning up and by the end of our one way 3 miles that would have otherwise been easy enough to hike back we decided to get an UBER back to our car. It is the best decision we made that day. After the hike we went home, changed, then went an explored 3 different beaches all with amazing views. The water here is SO blue. As Mia and Ezra played with the waves I walked along the sand and collected rocks, shells, and even sea glass that I thought looked cool.
